Why We Do It

Latinos are a very important part of America’s future. The number of Latinos in America is on the rise, which means that Latinos are the consumers of the future as well as pivotal keys in the political arena. Latinos also comprise the youngest segment of the population, which means future generations will be dependent on their earning power for prosperity.

Yet in America, Latinos often times face discrimination and a lack of procurement opportunities as minority business owners. That is why the LICI exists, to help bridge the gap between the Hispanic population and corporations. Additionally we work to help business leaders understand it is important for corporations to be proactive and get on board with support for and affiliation with the Latino community as it is emerging.
